To me, it seems that most of the “important” works are
written published by authors around the age of 30. It’s kind of a hard chart to read, but look for the faint yellow triangle to see what’s considered the masterpiece.
Faulkner and Joyce have the most interesting charts, because they’re so prolific at a high level and because of their broad range.
