I’ve never been a word count person. But the idea came up because I’m trying to work on three writing projects at once, plus my normal writing load for work. My mind’s going in a million directions. I thought if I kept up a word count for each one, then maybe I’d make some headway.
Say I set 250 words per project–that’s 750 words a day on each. Sounds do-able, but then I’m editing a book for Deckfight Press, re-editing my own book to get published, and then….well, time is gone.
What’s the plan then?
Just to do as much as I can, I guess. The good thing about three projects is that I can go between them. Just trying to make consistent progress on each. One of them I’m outlining at least, so that will be help…I guess?
So @ElectricCereal was right, I am stopping myself.
What are your thoughts?
